Absolutely perfect! Was exactly what the kids and I needed ,Nature for the weekend and this is exactly what we found! My kids 10 and 12 absolutely loved it. I honestly was blown away by the ‘backyard’ on this property. We had so much fun exploring. In just a short walk you can walk up the hill and get amazing views. Walk through the tracks and find the waterfalls, no there was no water after a long dry summer, however climbing the rocks on the dry waterfalls was so much fun. The front yard and balcony is super cool. Great hammocks and chairs to sit in and enjoy the space. So many activities such as outdoor toys for kids, indoor board games etc. House is cute and cosy. Bathroom is nice and clean. Kitchen has everything that you need! Some cheeky ants visited in the kitchen, however you can see the host has done everything possible to keep them at bay. So we just kept on top of the dishes etc. I have the same battle in the city! Beds were so comfy. We will be back. Emus are cute!

On arrival kitchen surfaces, bedside tables & furniture needed cleaning as they were dirty. The sofa had crumbs on it. Ants everywhere in the kitchen so we couldn't prepare food on the worktops, used table instead (after we had cleaned it). Due to all the above we doubted the cleanliness of crockery, cutlery, bed linen etc. All the things expected in a holiday stay. On a plus note, everything you needed was provided. Outside areas were untidy, overgrown, piles of junk, leaf litter, again outdoor furniture unclean, broken fences in front yard so couldn't let dog off lead, generally just not being cared for. We left halfway through our stay as we felt uncomfortable. 100 acres is a lot to take care of, but a house & adjacent areas are not when you are charging guests. We know an old country property can be dated & tired, but it should still be kept clean & tidy for guests. Awesome walks, peaceful & great views

This was a great place for us as we were able to bring our 3 dogs and big family. The property offers excellent walking and trail running opportunities. It is lovely to have the emus and kangaroos at close quarters and after having spent a month cooped up in the Quest in Midland, we and our dogs really appreciated the peaceful country and space. The property is somewhat quirky but it reminded us of nonna's old farmhouse.

Amazing property, had a blast exploring and hiking up to the waterfalls. A great place to disconnect from the world, enjoy nature and the simple things in life. One of the most helpful, responsive and proactive hosts! Thank you Jamie. Kids had a blast. Highly recommend!

The house had a character of its own different set up of rooms but we enjoyed it loved the veranda area and watching the emus and kangaroos. The kids went walking around the property would love to come back in the winter time to see the waterfall and creek running.
