Thank you. A lovely place. Perfect location for our needs
Beds uncomfortable. Very thin pillows not worth having. Sofa very uncomfortable. Not enough chairs for all guests to sit on. Five people stayed and only 3 could fit on sofa with no other chair. Dining table too small. When we first arrived we parked one car on drive and one in front of house on the road. The next door neighbour came leaping out and angrily told us their partner parks his van there and to park on the drive. So that was a nice welcome! The place was clean but with very basic decoration, and strangely the walls in the bathroom and toilet had stab marks in several places! The shower was rubbish. Couldn’t get the bath taps to work. The back door handle wouldn’t lock. When reported to the management company the person on the phone was very friendly.
We stayed here as a group of 6 and we’re left a little frustrated by elements of the house. The most frustrating thing was that the toilet door didn’t shut or lock; with a group of 6 in a small space this was particularly annoying. I contacted the agency within 1 hour of arriving to ask them to fix the issue, I didn’t get a reply via text or via Airbnb. The rubbish hadn’t been taken out from the bins outside which meant we ended up taking lots of rubbish back home with us. There is clearly a mould issue in the house as a piece of black material has been stapled to the kitchen ceiling (below the bathroom) to clearly cover something. No bath mat in the bath which just makes showering that bit more tricky. The blankets could all do with a good wash. There were only 4 mugs so ‘a fully equipped kitchen’ feels a bit of a stretch for 6 people. The advert says the driveway can fit 3 cars/vans, this again feels very generous as the driveway is very narrow.
Booked the place for our three workers, suited all their needs.
The property was exactly as promised. With suitable facilities provided to compliment our stay and would re-book if we were in the neighbourhood again
