Reminisce about vacationing on the Lake in one of our cozy rustic Cabins. Includes occupancy of up to 4 guests with two king bedrooms one queen pull out sofa sleeper and a kitchenette. Lake George Village is 1.25 miles from the property. The 2-bedroom cabin rental. Guests enter the unit by crossing over a couple of steps, ranging in number from two steps to upwards of eight steps, which brings them onto the wrap-around deck and the cabin's only entrance. The reserved parking spots for each unit are a short distance away from the unit and may require a brief walk to get to. The propane barbecue grill is offset from the entry stairs due to fire code regulations. An outside garbage can is also located nearby the unit steps. Inside the cabin, guests will find hardwood flooring, a sofa sleeper (pulls out into a queen bed), a couple of arm chairs, a cable television with an apartment-style kitchenette set-up (normal refrigerator, small stovetop oven, counters, microwave, coffee maker, and a sink), a dining table with seating for six guests, a smoke detector (with visual and audio aids), a CO2 detector (with audio aid), and a garbage can. The bathrooms each contain a shower-tub combination (portable steps and shower seats available upon request), a toilet (portable grab bars available upon request), a sink vanity with a mirror, towel bars, and a garbage can. Kathleen place was so dirty. The kitchen had oil stains everywhere. The fridge had an awful smell. The bathrooms smelled so bad. The patio was dusty, and they had spider webs everywhere. I have never seen any other place so unclean as this one. I am so disappointed with the place.
If the price is around $200-300, you will definitely enjoy your stay. We had to pay a lot more because of the surge price, and it wasn't quite "you get what you pay for." Nice location for the beautiful lake shore but the amenities and the rooms and kitchen need updates. The shower had brown water. I wouldn't recommend to cook in that kitchen. You will be staying at a resort property, and you can directly contact them to get a better deal without any airbnb and extra cleaning fee.
We had a great short visit to Lake George this year and will definitely be going back to this place again. We only stayed two days but this place made it fabulous. It is right on the water with beach access and a great pool. For the little ones they even had a small play ground. They had electric grills outside each place which made making a great easy meal. The rooms were great and were as described with comfortable beds and clean linens. Everything you need for a Great Lake vacation.
Beautiful location, great host. The cabin was clean enough, but dated and we felt like expensive for what you get.
The place had a beautiful view. It was very surfaced cleaned but the toaster and grill were not clean. Very poor lighting so I found myself using my phone flashlight to find clothe. The pool was great, the free kayak awesome!!
