Whether you want to enjoy a day snow skiing, fish Lake Eildon or the Delatite River, launch your boat at Goughs Bay free boat ramps, ride your dirt bike, ride your horse or simply kick back and relax, the high country is both beautiful and varied. Nestled on an acre of magnificent landscaped gardens with meandering garden paths and lots of seating area you can explore its nooks and crannies or enjoy the magnificent expansive lake views from your own private deck while enjoying a glass of your favourite beverage. Ngurra is the ultimate country home. Located 15 minutes from Mansfield, 2 minutes from Goughs Bay township (which offers free public boat ramps) and 35 minutes from the entrance to Mt Buller Alpine national park there is plenty to keep you entertained all your round. Our delightful four bedroom, two bathroom home can sleep 9 adults comfortably (KB,QB, 2S, 1 bunk room - double with single on top). in addition to a wonderful wood fire, all our rooms have their own individual heating. The house is also equipped with 3 reverse cycle air conditioning units. Please note Ngurra accommodates 9 guests, this includes children. We are also proving guests access to our second living space, which has a large couch seating 5-6 people and tv. We have a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and miele oven. All linen/towels are provided. Just bring your food and drink, including coffee pods for the Aldi machine. NBN is also available at the property. There is also a full size BBQ for your enjoyment and a state-of-the art Asko drying cabinet for drying snow ski equipment in the winter months. The house also features a 42" plasma TV and a Wii console -just bring your favourite games! The house boasts 3 decks: one front deck, one rear deck and a private deck accessed directly from the upstairs master bedroom so you can enjoy Al fresco dining both in the morning and in the afternoon. Children will enjoy feeding the local bird life directly from their hands. Both bathrooms have a shower while the downstairs bathroom also has a full sized bath for you to sit and soak away your worries. Mansfield is a 15 min drive from Ngurra, where there are plenty of shops and dining options. Alternatively you can pick up a few essentials at the Goughs Bay General Store, takeaway from the caravan park or even enjoy the fine dining at Amongst the Sticks. Your choices are endless... In the warmer months small pets may be accommodated on request. Although they must be kept outdoors in the fenced rear yard. Please note this fencing is only suitable for smallish quiet dogs. Ngurra is not your average holiday house - its a loved home that we look forward to sharing with you. You will walk into the house, see the view and feel instantly at home. Please note a minimum of three nights is required on long weekends and school holidays. We have also had to increase our cleaning fee to $350 to cater for the extra cleaning required due to COVID-19. The property needs to be vacant for 24 hours before the cleaners will access the property. This is less than half of what we are charged by our cleaners and includes linen. As such any request where there is a back to back booking will need to be declined as the property can not be cleaned in time for your stay. Please allow one day gap between bookings.
