Beautiful property! Clean house, great AC that cooled the house even when it was very hot. There’s even gym equipment in the garage and an outdoor shower as an option! (There’s indoor too)

Thank you to the hosts for an incredible stay! We came to Puerto Rico with a big group of friends, and this was the best option on the island. Perfect location/base for adventures. This location has easy access to/from the airport, surfing, river walks, waterfalls, the old town, and more. On the house — we were somewhat wary of the past reviews but everything was prepared for our stay. Honestly we loved this airbnb. Incredible feeling being surrounded by the rainforest, great public spaces, all the essentials work great (A/C, fridge, laundry/dryer, WiFi), and comfortable beds. There is plenty of space to be comfortable with a big group. Thanks again to the hosts for being highly communicative and helpful, with great tips for exploring the island! We will definitely be back :)

Sam (owner) was very communicative. He warned us about things other guests had not enjoyed (mostly normal island/jungle/remote living issues) prior to our trip. Lester (neighbor) was a treat! He was Incredibly nice & showed us around the property, sold us farm fresh eggs, came to check on issues we notified him of, etc (he has a number of animals, including a rooster that can't tell day from night) The property itself is quite overgrown and not super well maintained (especially not in comparison to the price for the Air BnB). The walking path no longer exists due to overgrowth, the concrete is caved in downstairs, the tile stairs are not attached to anything, etc It is evident which part of the property has/ has not been upgraded: the Casita is very nice compared to the main house. The main house has a number of minor yet significant issues: broken slat windows, misaligned/detached/holes in the screens, broken/missing tiles, broken piping, the furniture isn't secured, and so on.

The house is not maintained and needs alot of work. This was my first time experiencing something like this. * Finding this place is not easy . the information sent the day of check in does not get you to the location. we had to call and the neighbor directed us to the property *the road is extremely narrow *Exterior of house is not maintained looks abandoned *Exterior of home was full of spider webs (Huge Spiders) *Fire pit area not clean and cleared like in the pictures. (not maintained) Interior *Dirty linens *holes in screen (letting bugs in/spiders) I duct taped all the holes *couch-stains/ nasty smell * dishs unusable *fridge not maintained /doesnt stay cold *Mold around kitchen light fixture(no light) has a table lamp above cabinet. *bathrooms have mold, broken knobs, missing tiles. *washer/dryer unusable *bottom house mold unbearable smell *Gym equipment rusted/ mats mold I spent approximately $300 on cleaning supplies/ bug spray, linens. *left property the next day.
