Take a relaxing break in this cozy home with views of our beautiful private owned lake. Front porch or back porch; either place is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or to unwind at the end of your day. Or, bring your fishing pole and go hang out at the lake. There is a covered dock with grill where you can relax too. Whether you choose to fish, take a walk around the lake, play board games or just hang out on a porch to read, there is plenty to do. And…it’s just a short drive to town. This property features 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 bathrooms. The view of the spring fed lake is stunning from the covered back porch and fenced in back yard. It’s only surpassed by the amazing sky full of stars, winking at you all night long. We have just completed the repainting of the outside of the house. Next, will be new landscaping. We look forward to posting new outdoor photos of our home as soon as the project is finished. Our home is perfectly suited for a longer term guest….such as a traveling nurse. The home is fully stocked with all necessary kitchen equipment to make it feel like home away from home.

Debras’s home is really beautiful and comfortable. When we walked it we felt right at home. Debra is an exceptional host. She checked in with me the day before, during our stay to see if we needed anything. The lake behind the house is beautiful. The front porch, back porch and the fire pit outside is decorated so classy. We will indeed return again when we need some peace and quiet or if we are in the area. I cannot say enough about this home! From the first communication until we walked out the door, I have stayed in many Airbnbs but this was exceptional! Great location, Wonderful host communication, clean, clean, clean. Kitchen WELL stocked. Everything you will need. Quality linens and towels. We were there for a funeral and had my older father with us and we had a little time in the morning, he SO enjoyed the walk around the pond and the pavilion. So calming! Highly recommend this Airbnb. Such a blessing!

Keep in mind, this is a country setting. As such, you can see the stars at night, but you may also see deer, fox and possibly snakes, some venomous, some not. It is important to have fun, but be aware of your surroundings.
City of Blackshear is about a 5 minute drive.
City of Waycross is about a 10 to 15 minute drive.

I'm a small town southern girl, who moved to the big city many moons ago; worked a corporate job for 30+ years. Then retired, expecting to kick back and eat bon bons all day (lol). But, my husband, tugged at me to join his company, so for the past several years, I have partnered with him to grow our small business. We recently celebrated the purchase of another small business, so it doesn't appear that retirement....or bon bons are anywhere in my near future. Even so, my husband and I love to travel and we try to take a couple of trips every year. We have 3 grown children; waiting on grandbabies, but it looks like that will be a while before that happens! Grrr. Lol And...I love Jesus. He is the rock on which I stand.
