This location is absolutely stunning. Even more beautiful than the pictures. A truly unique place. The house is charming and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Home is as described and the view is beyond words. Very historically significant and peaceful. Plenty of space inside although the beauty of the outside is always calling.

Akraberg Lighthouse is a one of the most attractive places on Suðuroy island and staying there the full week by observing weather that was changing from stormy clouds to sunny sky was an a rare and wonderful experience. Welcoming birds at their migration travel (this is the first piece of land when they are traveling from Europe to this direction) and observing them taking rest all around reminds Hitchcock movie :-) Here you can have a felling to be completely out of time and the usual everyday life (turn off your mobile phone and do not use TV). Recommended place to stay at least one week or more, this is also excellent place if you would like to explore the whole island. The house is comfortable and huge (living room kind of very good quality of boutiques hotel).
