Wander down the bush path to catch sight of the treehouse that rises on a solid central base, standing sentry-like over the surrounding kauri, nikau, manuka, and many other specimens of New Zealand native bush. Take the boardwalk to this stunning octagonal treehouse, step inside to marvel at the abundance of space and the magnificent untreated timber ceiling rising to a soaring height producing authentic woody aromas. High above the forest floor the wraparound deck offers a viewing platform over the forest canopy. Here you can relax in nature, listening to the beautiful native birdsong whilst enjoying one of the many wonderful local wines or beverages. Observe the subtle differences in colour and texture of the native bush, including a mighty kauri estimated between 800 and 900 years old. And when night falls, gaze at the stars above in the night sky. This setting is beautiful during the day and even more stunning at night. Ideal for couples, however we can accommodate 2 additional guests with a sofa bed, due to availability. Everything you need is here. Water for drinking is filter rainwater and all other water comes from the property’s freshwater spring which is also filtered.
