First, I will say: this was an old lake house & Robert was very communicative if I had any questions or issues. We loved the house & it’s location - very peaceful. But there were a few things that were underwhelming. The bed was unmade when we got there which, in past experiences, the beds were always made for us. There was coffee provided but no sugar (mama loves her cream & sugar). Upon leaving we always clean up after ourselves but I felt like they were expecting us to be the cleaning service as well. Typically, when we travel, I do try to pack simple toiletries but usually basics are provided. Of course the one time I don’t pack any, no toiletries were provided. My husband had to run to Meijer & grab the essentials (shampoo/conditioner, face wash, lotion). There were cobwebs on the lighting fixtures & cabinet doors (which again, it was an old place so that is to be expected). Overall, our stay was good we learned some lessons & will be more prepared at our next Airbnb.

Directly on the water and had a space for our boat. Pier had protective bumpers and clean of seaweed. The house was setup very nicely. Plenty of seating for multiple guests. Nice large smart TV. Plenty of beds. I am mostly happy with the kitchen. The last AirBNB I rented had barely anything. While this rental had more than enough tools, pans, bowls, etc. I love to cook so this was very nice to not have to buy tools while on vacation. Plenty of outdoor seating which was nice since you want to be outside at a lake house. Abundant parking. Everything was perfect. This is a house I wouldn't mind living in.

We had a great stay at this charming little cabin on a pretty lake. It was very quiet and relaxing. We saw swans every day. The neighbors were friendly when we saw them. It was convenient to Pokagon State Park, where we had planned to hike. I would recommend this peaceful spot for a quiet getaway.

We enjoyed our time at the cozy cottage. Really enjoyed sitting in the chairs overlooking the large window to the lake. Nice area to walk our dog about 1 mile total in the vicinity. Very peaceful lake. Hosts were responsive and welcoming.
