Welcome to the Maples, a family friendly waterfront property on beautiful Sproat Lake. We are located 15 minutes west of Port Alberni on Hwy 4. We are approximately an hour and a half to Tofino. Sproat Lake is a perfect place to use as a home base for day trips to Tofino and/or Ucluelet. Included in your accommodation is a boat slip for your use should you wish to bring your boat. We offer a 2 bed/2bath plus den and boat slip. There is a beach area and large dock for all to use. Comfortable, basic furnishings with everything you need to enjoy time at the lake.

We had a great family vacation at the lake. Lees place was perfect. Spacious for the 4 of us! Dock was great. Would definitely recommend bringing a folding wagon for the walk down to the lake. Can’t wait to return
Beautiful spacious condo with a great view of Sproat Lake. So handy to have a boat slip right there which made for a seamless enjoyable vacation.

Great little spot to bring your family! Close to the lake with your own communal dock. Close to cute coffee shop. Perfect little getaway!
Lee was very responsive and proactive. Sproat Lake in general is a great family vacation time and the swim dock at the Maples is a great way to spend a few days.

There is a gravel walkway across the road that is approximately 5kms if you like to walk. It will take you to the Provincial Park at one end and to Dellas Cafe at Sproat Lake Landing in the other direction. A few mins drive is The Fish and Duck Pub where you can also inquire about boat rentals if that is of interest to you. Pickleball courts are a short walk at the Sproat Lake Community Hall.
There is parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles in front of the unit

My family and I lived at the Maples for 4 years and have recently moved to Victoria. We love to travel and have called Vancouver, Edmonton, Ottawa, Northern Ontario, Manly Beach, and Tofino home. We hope you will enjoy it here as much as we have. The summers at Sproat Lake are incredible. The crystal clear water and warm sunny days are unbeatable. We hope you will come and see for yourself.
