The village Sinarades is a very charming traditional village and a great place to stay. It is really necessary to have your own transport as there is few buses and to visit other places is quite a distance. With transport you can enjoy the quiet unhurried life of the village and the rest of Corfu.

L’alloggio, ricavato da una soffitta, è davvero bellissimo, si ha la sensazione di casa. Sono riusciti a ricavare un nido inaspettato. In frigo abbiamo trovato due bottiglie di acqua apprezzatissime, in bagno c’era tutto l’occorrente, docciaschiuma, shampoo, detersivo per lavatrice e ammorbidente. Istruzioni pre check-in chiarissime e anche in casa diversi depliant esplicativi sia sulla casa, sia sui dintorni. Abbiamo avuto qualche problema inizialmente con l’acqua, dovuti al fatto che avevamo attivato la lavatrice, ma lo abbiamo capito e non è stato necessario contattare l’host in merito. Casa davvero confortevole, comoda per raggiungere in auto diversi posti di interesse sull’isola. Unico neo, il bagno, non ha pareti totalmente “isolanti” la stanza, le parti sopra sono “aperte” per cui non garantisce totale privacy. In ogni caso, alloggio piacevolissimo.

Spiro's house was really charming. The accomodation made you feel quite at home, it was really clean and warm. The house was easy to find with the provided instructions. The house had all the neccesary amenities and was really comfortable. The host was very helpful.

The traditional village of Sinarades is located 13 km away from the city of Corfu and falls under the jurisdiction of the municipal unit of Parelioi. It is renowned for its distinctive local architecture, which is evident in all types of buildings, including churches. In total, the village is home to 12 churches, but its most prevalent characteristic is the dense construction of houses.
The village's architecture showcases stone houses with ochre-colored roof tiles, small doors adorned with embossed marbles, exterior staircases leading to verandas (referred to as "bonjo"), and, notably, arches on the ground floors of the houses. These elements constitute the essence of Corfiot countryside architecture, leading to the village's designation as a traditional settlement.
Sinarades is also celebrated for its picturesque landscapes, featuring vast expanses adorned with olive trees and cypresses. Together, these scenes form the puzzle of Sinarades, offering a window into an authentic, culturally rich environment for those seeking to explore.
Lastly, Sinarades offers breathtaking vistas, particularly from the vantage point known as "Aerostato," aptly named for the sensation it imparts of being in a hot air balloon. The view extends over the beaches below and stretches out to the horizon, providing a guaranteed spectacle. From this spot, one can also take in the sight of the island dedicated to the Holy Mary, known as Kira-Dikia, which translates to "the lady that is fair."
In the villa there are taverns, mini markets and a pharmacy. You can reach Sinarades by the green bus line no B14 and stop at the roundabout before Aerostato. Then the house is at 2 minutes.
