We like something a bit quirky, and this didn't disappoint. All the bedrooms were beautiful, and similar sizes so no arguments over rooms! Lovely garden, plenty of outside seating...and our four legged friend loved it. Helen had produced an amazing book, telling us all we needed to know before we arrived, so we were able to plan where to go. Recommendations were spot on. Thank you for an amazing stay

We were very happy with our stay at the Rye River House. The rooms looked so cool and were comfortable. The disco ball was a particular hit! We loved having breakfast on the patio in the morning and unwinding with Netflix at the end of the day. Also appreciated was the extensive booklet of recommendations that Helen left. I wish we were staying longer so we'd have time to try them all! Overall, we were pleased with the experience and would stay again.

We had a really lovely stay at Helen's beautiful Airbnb. This place really lived up to the beautiful photographs, in fact, it looked even better in person! Very comfortable for our family of four and our dog. The location itself was perfect, just a stone's throw from an excellent pub and an easy walk into Rye, even for my son who was on crutches. The street itself was quiet and peaceful, and we all slept extremely well. The place has obviously been maintained to a very high standard and combined some beautiful mid century modern antiques with modern 70s decor. The whole effect was very striking - especially the disco ball! Helen was a great host, very responsive and sent us lots of great local information. Rye itself has so much to recommend it, and we loved being a short drive from Camber Sands. Definitely one of our top Airbnb visits for sure! Thank you Helen for a lovely time.

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s. The house is clearly well loved and nicely decorated, and was all as described in a nice location a very short walk into central Rye. Helen was very responsive and it was easy to find and enter the house. We would recommend the house and would stay again!
