This stay was great! The house was extremely clean and comfortable, a perfect place to spend a weekend with some friends. The fire pit was great for staying out and spending time outside, and when it rained on the second day of our stay the house provided a comfy place for my friends and I to stay. Would definitely recommend!
This was.a beautiful AirBnB. It was conveniently located to everything I needed for this trip, and in a very walkable area. The house itself is beautiful and peaceful. My friends and I had the best time.
This is a RAVE review: My family (me, husband, four of my kids and one of their girlfriends) stayed here for a wedding, and we were all utterly charmed by the home and yard. We are a BIG family, and there was plenty of room without us being all over each other. The furniture and decor are just beautiful, as is the yard. When I thought it couldn't get any cozier in the back yard, the irises bloomed and a bunny showed up. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both showers are gorgeous. There are enough corners to tuck into for work; WiFi is reliable. We all felt welcomed and settled in easily. All communication with our hosts was answered promptly, from booking through checkout. They left clear instructions, as well as truly thoughtful touches like snacks, games, and toiletries. We didn't spend much time in the neighborhood, as we were either at family events or hunkering down playing Monopoly, so I can't comment on the wider neighborhood, but we felt safe and the area is quiet.
This was our second stay at Herschel House and we absolutely love it here. It's beautiful, saturated decor is only beat by its comfort. Everything here is well-thought out! The linens and beds are great quality, perfect for sinking into after a day of traipsing around the area. The bathrooms are stocked with basics and spotless. The kitchen has probably one of the best assortments of cooking and baking equipment I've seen in an Airbnb. The back yard is a peaceful spot to watch local critters and unwind with a cup of tea. We really appreciated the thoughtful snack basket in the kitchen too! We'll absolutely be back here again and would definitely recommend this space to anyone staying in the TC area!
