Moments from the beach, surrounded by golf courses, with an enormous private rear garden, Wildwoods has something for everyone. Wildwoods is a spacious family home, sleeping 7 guests in 4 bedrooms with a large garden and plenty of parking. It sits within the private estate of Sandwich Bay so you're just two minutes from the quiet beach while still being close to Sandwich, Deal and Thanet. From entering through the welcoming hallway, where the cloakroom is located, you find yourself in the bright, airy and large sitting room. With parquet flooring, sofas and huge flat screen TV it is an ideal space to relax after a day on the beach or golf course. The kitchen has been recently updated in high-gloss white units and is very well equipped with induction hob. From the kitchen the sunny dining room , with seating for eight, leads onto the patio and rear garden through glazed doors. Upstairs there are four well appointed bedrooms. The master has a super king bed, there's a twin, a single and a double along with 2 bathrooms. The large rear garden has a patio with garden furniture and a large area of lawn, perfect for the family to relax and children to run free!

When we arrived there appeared to no information provided about he house. The garage where we assumed the washing machine, drier and boiler were located was locked, and we had no idea where to find the key. In the sitting room there was a bureau which appeared to be locked and resisted many attempts to open it. Having brought in our belongings and distributed them to various bedrooms and the kitchen, we registered the fact that the house was cold, and indeed none of the radiators were even warm. At that stage we rang the emergency number we’d been given and were told someone would arrive within an hour to look into the heating. He showed us a kitchen cupboard with an array of keys on the inside of the door, each labelled, one with “garage”. We were then shown the boiler with manual and eventually were able to get the house warm. Bedroom cupboard space lacking in all but master’s. Duvets and pillows with duck feather fillings instead of hypoallergenic. Nowhere to put toilet bags
Lovely house, very cosy. In a quiet location with lots of walks available. A great area for a golfer!
I can not speak highly enough of this property it looked better than the pictures! Exclusive, private, peaceful location. House and gardens were beautiful and well maintained. Kitchen was so well stocked we never run out or were missing anything. Beds were comfortable and lovely big rooms. So handy to have two bathrooms that were not en suite. House was spotlessly clean and felt so homely. Would love to stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay in Sandwich Bay. Helen’s house is beautifully decorated and so comfortable, we felt right at home. It’s in a very quiet community yet a short drive to the town of Sandwich, which has some very nice restaurants and pubs, not to mention some lovely old churches too. A good base to explore Kent!
We visited from America with our two small children, the area was beautiful with the beach a short walk away. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and the back garden was huge. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home to anyone coming for a visit.

Sandwich holds a wealth of cultural heritage being one of the Cinque Ports. The town is recognised as one of the best preserved medieval towns in the country and is now in ownership of its own Magna Carta. Sandwich is awash with things to see and do, much of it enjoyed on foot without needing to get back in the car. The ancient courtroom and museum can be located in the Guildhall. It really is a delight with timber-framed houses leaning over narrow streets. There are quaint cafes including an Italian pizzeria with wood fired oven, offering delectable bites breakfast until dinner. Follow the town trail taking in the historic sites, then relax on the quay with its cosy pubs and good eateries. Pop into the No Name Shop to devour a fresh pastry and there are even the remains of a Roman Fort that can be reached by river bus or head out to the estuary to spot seals. The quayside is charming with walking trails on the flat which run along on a relaxing 30 minute walk from the sand and shingle beach of Sandwich Bay or you can even walk through the footpath across Royal St George’s Golf Course!
Inside the town you will also find the White Mill Rural Heritage centre, Salutation Gardens and no less than four historic churches. The bells you can hear quietly chiming from around the town. The narrow streets with timber framed listed buildings carry you back in time. You’ll also find a delicatessen, a grocers and many places to eat and drink. Events are also held frequently in the centre throughout the year. Sandwich is a bit of a secret getaway location to hide away from the busy world and enjoy local living.
Venture less than 2 miles and you can reach Deal a smugglers port town, here you will find another Championship golf course.
