Set in the heart of Dorset and in the small village of Lydlinch, close to Lydlinch common which is a conservation area for butterlies, this detached holiday home for up to six guests offers a great base for enjoying the best of this lovely county. Close to the market town of Sherborne, Shaftesbury and the Jurassic coastline. Det. House. Ground Floor: Kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer . Living/dining room: Electric coal-effect fire, 44" Freeview TV, DVD and CD players. French doors leading to patio/garden. . Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed, 24"Freeview TV and en-suite with Bath/Shower over, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail. First Floor: Bedroom 2 (leading to sitting room): with double bed, 21" TV and en-suite with shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail. Sitting room: with 2 single beds and kitchenette.

This is a super place to stay - and it had everything that was needed for a perfect holiday home -!the linen on the beds were excellent quality - the scones , jam and cream were just delicious- all in all we had a fantastic holiday Many thanks Joy x

Well equipped and comfortable with a lovely little garden.
This was the second time we'd stayed at the property. Nancy and her husband are both friendly and helpful but not intrusive in any way. The house and its amenities are all you should expect. Also the sunny garden is secluded and pleasant to relax, lots of bird activity on the many feeders.

Close to Lydlinch Common which is a butterfly conservation area. Good area for walkers. Local shops three miles and pub/restaurant two miles.
Parking for two cars. Centrally located for visiting Bournemouth/New Forest/Dorchester/Weymouth and near the Somerset border. Longleat Safari Park, Stourhead House and Gardens and Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm museum are all in easy distance.
