Casa Julianna was an amazing experience to end our last few days in Costa Rica. What a beautiful place, even better to see in person. There was plenty of room within the house & seating in the screened outdoor patio space. We were travelling with 5 kids age 10-19, they all loved it here and enjoyed the pool during the day and night. The separate bedroom with bathroom was a nice surprise - our oldest daughter enjoyed this space. There was quite a few howler monkeys behind the home, it was fun to watch them play in the trees. Tamarindo is appx 40min drive away, we took the family here for a night of souvenir shopping. Fun town to explore. We also did a fishing charter for a day. Thank you for providing our family with early check-in and late check out, along with the great nightly rate you provided to us. Wonderful experience, highly recommend. We plan to visit Costa Rica again next year. Jenn & Andy + kids.

Traveled with a family of 10, ages 5-75yrs, and everyone of us had a most memorable amazing vacation! Casa Juliana was everything we hoped it would be and more. Location was perfect. The pleasant surprise was the amount of wildlife we encountered right on the property. Howler monkeys, Pizote, giant toads (softball size or bigger), frogs, various lizards, monstrous Iguanas, crabs, various others I don’t know the names of, even the friendly roaming neighborhood dog and cat came on site to entertain us. Beautiful beach with reef just a short walk down. Got to see stunning tropical fish in the tide pools when the tide went out. Local restaurants were fantastic and the locals were so welcoming and inviting, made us feel like family. Georgina was incredibly helpful and responsive, she went above and beyond and it was very much appreciated! We will defiantly be back, this vacation has us all in love with Costa Rica and missing our stay at Casa Juliana.

Casa Juliana is beautiful and private. it’s only around 15 minutes to Playa Negra and less than 40 minutes to Tamarindo, also an hour and 15 from the Liberia. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great time - including games and beach chairs. Our only concern during our stay was that the shower pressure in one of the bathrooms was extremely low, making it difficult to shower. Because of this, we ended up showering in the outside pool shower. There are a few restaurants and grocery stores at 20 mins from the house and, Playa Junquillal is a 2 minute walk away. However, having a car is recommended if you want to explore other beaches and restaurants or go to adventures around. Michael and Georgina are great people to reach out to and answer questions if you need anything during your stay. Thank you both so much for having a crib available for our baby. If we ever come back we would be happy to stay again.

Recommended for experienced travelers, you are with the locals, driving on rough dirt roads, local restaurants and markets. This is not a resort or a developed area, it's the real Costa Rica. 3 minute walk to the beach and nothing but a couple other locals on the beach. Not a tourist area which we liked and great if you just want to take it easy. Check this location compared to the things you want to see and do in Costa Rica. Howler Monkeys, squirrels, ground Iguanas, different kinds of birds all on the property which was really cool. It's a great place, we had 6 adults and 4 kids from 6 - 14 and everyone loved it.
