The location of this cabin is absolutely stunning. I’m so glad I got to spend some time in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. It is truly unlike anywhere else on the planet. The cabin was just as described, and even though I visited in February, the propane heater kept it very warm. Larry and Gwen were very helpful and responsive, and even had a fire started for me when I got there. This location is a little piece of magic.

This was an extraordinary experience. The caravan is beautifully and creatively designed, comfortable, artful, well furnished. The woodlands are lovely. We enjoyed short rambles, campfires, hooting owls, the call of geese, and beautiful fall foliage. A perfect getaway. Don’t miss this one!!

When I was a restless teen I listened obsessively to a Clancy Brothers song, Im a Free Born Man, about the passing of the time of the traveling people—“every tinker, rolling stone and gypsy rover.” If youve ever wanted a taste of the caravan life, this is the place to do it. With the perks of a solar table lamp, and battery operated lights, should you need them. And comfortable covered outdoor space to sit, wash, eat, stretch—because the caravan is small, and while the right level of cosy for one, could be somewhat confining for two in cold weather. I had warm days and moonlit nights, everything provided for the perfect campfire, the woods were lovely and the overall experience pretty sublime.

This is our second time back. It was kismit that it was open for my birthday weekend. Larry and Gwen are great host! it's a very unique and special find in a beautiful place.
