Plover Retreat was a wonderful place to stay for a trip to Pictured Rocks. It was cozy and the right amount of distance from the road and town for quiet evenings around the fire. All of the essentials were provided. A couple of things to note: - The hot water knob was finicky to handle - Hot water does need time to replenish after a couple of showers in a row - Cell service was spotty at best - Groceries are best bought before arriving – the store nearby did not carry some produce and spices we were looking for Overall, had a wonderful time there!
