We had a group of 7 people staying at Joe's place for a horse show. The location and amenities were perfect. It literally had everything you need as if you were at home. He thought of everything. It's one of the best stocked home we've stayed in. Everyone enjoyed a good nights sleep and a home cooked meal. Joe was also very responsive to any of my questions. We had a great weekend!

We sought out a place that would house our entire family of 14 for Christmas and we wanted some room to be outside with a balance of yard space, patio and plenty of home. This spot was just perfect! We absolutely loved the layout of the home and the cleanliness of the property. The surroundings were beautiful and it was just the perfect place nestled away for our family for a fantastic Christmas. We are so grateful to Joe for his responsiveness and providing exactly what he described as a fantastic place to stay. We will forever remember our time there! Recommend to anyone who wants the beauty of the hill country, but easy access to the city! We will be back!

Beautiful location and comfortable home. We were in town for a family wedding, and this was a great place to gather my family vs having multiple hotel rooms. There is absolutely no negatives about this rental. It is a great one. There is one warning I have for you if you rent here. This rental is at the base or south end of the small town of "Gray Forest" which just made their road 20 mph. It turns to 20 right outside the gate of this rental. (It is 40 on each side of this little town along this one strip of road.) There are 3 or more police that are working this short strip of road, and giving tickets. I was driving to my sister's rental up the road, and had just turned onto the road and was immediately pulled over after being in the town for just 5 minutes. Again, this isn't anything against this rental...just be aware that you cannot drive over 20mph or you will get ticketed. The rental had everything you need and more. Definitely stay here! (Just drive SLOW!)
