My husband and I absolutely loved the experience of staying on the ship! Especially if you are into history and historic venues this is a great change of scenery than staying at an Airbnb that is a home. Definitely recommend to others!

The space is really nice, the experience was better than I imagined. I only had problems with the wi-fi, which I could not connect, otherwise everything worked. A positive point is that it has breakfast and parking!

While it is great that this 1930's ship is being brought back to life, but the fact that the entrance was not described regarding the stairs on the outside of the ship and how steep/open they were. We had 2 children 8 & 11 and ourselves and would not have been able to carry up out belongings as we had planned to stay for 4 nights. They offered to help with luggage, but the steps were not for anyone like me that has a fear of heights. The was not mentioned in the description of the ship. The room was MUCH smaller and darker than the picture on the web site--it has a lot of room for improvement at this point and I would not recommend for children at this time, or older adults until more accurate descriptions are placed on web site. There is real potential, but we did not even stay one night because none of us really felt comfortable in such a small space for 4 people. Perhaps only 2 beds in this space would be better in the future. It was not at all what we had planned.

A Historical Gem! We cant believe our good fortune in finding this incredible place to stay. I have recommended it to all of our family and friends. We loved staying on the SS City of Milwaukee, the ship was beautiful and has been maintained so well. It was like walking back in time. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the ship and waling the decks. Our room was comfortable and bathrooms clean. Continental breakfast was a huge bonus. Thank you for preserving this piece of history for us all to enjoy! We will undoubtedly be back again!
