Our stay was great, everyone had a great time. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was equipped with everything you would need to do your own meals, laundry etc. The location is great for walking, the scenery is wonderful and the area is very peaceful. There is shopping, and lots of small communities to visit within a 30 minute drive. If this is the area of Newfoundland you want to explore on your vacation we can highly recommend this rental.

This place was a perfect fit for two adults and two teens! Lots of space, two bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry and a beautiful deck with a view of the ocean. Family stopped by for a card game and a dance to the stereo disco lights. There’s loads of seating. Many DVDs and VHS tapes to watch on rainy days. A beautiful beach just 3 minutes walk, a great place to search for sea glass and skip rocks. Beds were comfy, lots of towels. So much character in this house, filled with antiques, the girls said it felt like we were staying at a museum 😊 All four of us recommend Madeline’s place and hope to stay here again!

We really enjoyed or stay at “The Shop “.. It was our home away from home for 6 days. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need and lots of towels for the bathroom, soap, shampoo etc. The home was very clean and the host responded to my emails very quickly. Very quiet at night time and friendly neighbours. Port de Grave is a beautiful and scenic little town and we would stay there again if visiting the area …
