Stayed at this house for a short beach vacation. We appreciated all the beach gear that was at the house so we didn't have to bring out own stuff. Dad liked the house had a kayak since he wanted to try one. If you had a boat the house did have a dock on the canal so a small boat could be tied up. House was a block and a half from a public beach access point, which made it easy to walk to the beach and leave the car at the house. The host was very responsive. Had the hot tub stop working and someone was there the following day to fix it. We liked the living room had plenty of seating for us to watch TV together in the evening. The house had Disney Plus, so we enjoyed watching some Disney shows.
If you like to fish…on the dock out back, near low tide, I caught a 3 lb flounder with a Casey Ashley spinner jig head with a white glitter swim bait. There are hundreds, if not thousands of bait fish in this end of the canal. We saw schools of large fish chasing them. The hot tub was super clean and refreshing on the 68° nights. The multiple porch couches with all the cushions were a favorite of ours. We enjoyed truly relaxing with coffee/beverages during cool mornings and gorgeous sunsets. All the living room furniture was really comfy but each a little different in a good way. A great fit for everyone. Thank you Lisa for having this Airbnb and for being so affordable.
Great location and plenty of room.
Lisa is a great host, she responded almost immediately any time I reached out to her. The house was clean, comfortable & well stocked. Location can’t be beat. We would definitely stay there again
This is a great place to stay! It’s only 2 blocks from the beach which is nice! There were plenty of cooking items. The grill temperature was low though and it took a while to grill meat. Being able to kayak off the back dock and enjoy the canal was fun. We loved all the decks! You will not be disappointed staying here. Lisa and team were very quick at answering all questions.
