We didn't have any problem communicating with Karan as he always respond swiftly to our request and concerns. The room and reception is exactly as what we have expected. Overall, Karan is a very good host.

Very comfortable! Lovely and clean rooms, smartly decorated. It shows as advertised, even better in person. We stayed on top level with its own rooftop facing the beach. Fantastic option if you need to transit in Male or near airport. We stayed one night.

Karan was an excellent host. He is a very good communicator and a good guy. He responded very quickly to messages and helped us have a great stay in Hulhumale. The Planktons hotel is a very nice and quaint place. It's new and clean. A/C and Cable TV worked great. It is right across from the beach and the road that it is on is quiet but still has some restaurants, so it's relaxing but not boring. Karan helped us organize free transportation to and from the hotel as well as helped us get a good price on a reef snorkeling excursion, which was excellent. There was also free kayaking near the hotel, which was fun. I'd recommend this as an affordable way to experience Maldives.

Hulhumale (or airport island) is an excellent place if you'd like to stay close to the airport in. MALE is not connected to the airport - you need to take a ferry if visiting the capital of the Maldives. Karan is a great host, was is helping us with all we needed. Breakfast was served on our balcony overlooking the sea. The only drawback is the beach for two reasons: littered with garbage and cannot used for swimming in bikinis. Islamic law allows you swimming with clothes on. We had 2 little children and they very very happy playing on the shores all day long. Overall we had great time there.
