The stay here was perfect, and I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. The hosts were incredibly thorough in communication and provided additional generous service. Included in booking was a pick up from the train station and drop off at the airport, a delicious breakfast, and advice on the area. The location is perfect to the historical walking street with it's amazing night market (though it is worth a visit during the say as well). Additionally, it is on the river which made for a lovely view! I also appreciated the air condition given how hot it was, other places I stayed in didn't have this. I would definitely stay here again!

Kanecha's Home was a welcome change after the bustling city of Chiangmai. The days were quiet and peaceful and the nights as well. We chose to spend our evenings wandering the market, which is a five minute walk away, just over the bridge. Very authentic and cool, with local folk musicians playing at certain spots. I did not realize our home would be located directly on the river!!! Such a pleasant surprise. The owners also operate a small vegetarian restaurant on the property, which was amazing for me (who is vegan) being surrounded by grilled animals at the markets everywhere we go. They made delicious food, I recommend the fried basil with rice. And our last lovely surprise was a new PUPPY on the property!! So cute and playful. There was also and adorable (loud lol) kitty cat and a nice dog. All in all a great experience. My only regret is not booking more time here.

This place was so much more than I expected from the pictures. The free pick up and drop off is in a comfortable van with a responsible driver. The room was a big apartment and super comfortable. There was no breakfast, but it is so close to culture street that you don't need it at all. This place was on point! It even has a river view garden!
