Beautiful setting in the woods, but with a large grassy area in front of the bungalow. Lots of deer, some wild turkeys, and even an occasional sighting of a fox in the distance. Beautiful view of the facing mountain, over which the sun rose. Stayed in December and January, heating was excellent (my wife is sensitive to the cold). Bungalow was fully stocked with all necessary household equipment. Joe and Susan were very responsive, but at the same time they scrupulously respected our privacy. I would highly recommend it!

Secluded and incredibly peaceful. Wonderful wildlife was fun to watch up close. Very comfortable and cozy. Well equipped. Joe was very thoughtful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Single male stayed most of Summer 2023. Picturesque spot. The ad describes it very well. All the basics (furniture, utensils, etc.) are there. Hallway is narrow but the rooms are good sizes. Very isolated location- If you don't go out, you won't see anybody. And you'll have to drive. The roads are windy and steep. Not the hosts' fault but my stay was quite buggy so I couldn't enjoy the porch or deck as I would have otherwise. Great place for a getaway but maybe not long-term.

First, the hosts are an absolute pleasure to deal with. If you are looking for something outside the box this is the place. Staying at this rustic property keeps things very simple, peaceful and private. My stay was for an extended period of time and there was not anything this property did not have to make it feel like home. Very much enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch with a family of deer less than 100 feet away from me! Even though the property is private you are only minutes to major highways, restaurants and local attractions.
