Nice location next to the lake. Clean home. Quick responses. Accurate description. Mattress not super comfortable but that’s personal preference. The reason I gave four instead of five stars (everything else about the place was good), is the half hour of cleaning required by the owner before checkout in addition to paying a cleaning fee. Owners also require a $500 third party company deposit. So, it feels like a bit of a financial hostage situation if you don’t clean unit to the standards of the host. Not a deal breaker, just something to consider before booking. Pre checkout (10am) list includes: Strip mattresses and put towels in wash and start whites Pick up all trash Remove and dispose of all food items from refrigerator and pantry/cabinets. Empty all trash in garbage cans Take said cans to the end of the driveway All furniture should be returned to its original location/ fold up umbrellas. Start dishwasher with all utensils inside

Ron was very accommodating and helpful. There was a little hiccup on my end but he was understanding and we got it resolved right away. The cabin is just like in photos. The neighborhood is peaceful and we enjoyed evening walks with beautiful views. We visited the recommended Patti’s and had a fun day. It was too cold for any water activities but I could see this place being great for summer months and lake activities. The cabin was clean and very spacious for 7 of us. The movie room was a hit and Ron has a great movie collection for any ages and genres. This was a perfect family weekend to end spring break. I would recommend this cabin to my friends!

We had a great Easter weekend with family and we had plenty of space. Rental was close to attractions at Land Between the Lakes! Close to the freeway which made travel convenient and the windows do a great job blocking out any noise. Would recommend for a family gathering.
