Great location for our requirement. Near to supermarkets, town centre's of Hemel Hempstead, St. Albans & Watford. Motorways nearby into London or the North.

Quite bad experience we had. We have arrived quite late in the evening. Once started to get ready to go to bed, found out that blankets were not clean. We have informed the owner about it and sent photos of hair in bed. As a reply we got that: this is first time to happen, too late to do anything and tomorrow we can change. But the most fun started next morning. When we woke up there was no electricity in the house. After few hours it came back on. But, few hours later it went off again and this time for good. Owners were just saying that this question is out of their control. Talked to construction workers at sight. Figured out that this place is powered by generator, which is run by diesel. Developer refused to refill it. Each blamed each other, but we were the ones to suffer. Hours passes, house got cold, no way to cook, now wi-fi and finally got totally dark. No candles or blankets offered by owner. We checked out to look for a new place. Place not meant for living

A lovely barn conversion with all the amenities located next to a beautiful common. We really enjoyed our stay.
