Listing was not ready for me upon arrival, after a long travel day I was unable to shower the night I arrived because there were no towels provided. Host was made aware immediately but did not deliver towels until the next day. First night in this place was rough, the thin comforter on the bed made sleeping challenging, no soap in the dirty bathroom, no cups to get water in the very dirty kitchen. Host arrived the followed by morning around 10am with the extra items I requested that I had expected to be there upon arrival (towel, hand soap, extra toilet paper, basic dishes and cups, extra blanket). The host proceeded to defend his dirty kitchen by blaming the AirBNB guests. In a boarding house rented to 6+ people at time the host needs to invest in a weekly cleaning at a minimum. In the week I was there no significant cleaning was done. This is barebones accommodation with a host who is fed up with hosting. I was told there was self check in but this was not true.
