It was a last minute getaway for my husbands 50th bday. We definitely were able to get some R&R at Bert &Angelicas cabin. They even had our favorite board game there…Sequence! Our 2 boys and 2 nephews took advantage of the play room! Played a few rounds of pool 🎱 which was a lot of fun! We did bring a small Smart TV for the boys to hook up their PS5 at night. peaceful backyard but for snow we went to Tamarack Sno-Park. It was packed but boys enjoyed sledding, snow balls fights and wrestling! 🤣 enjoyed cooking and baking and they had everything I needed in the kitchen. first night we ordered pizza at Shaver Lake Pizza and it did not disappoint! ! Cabin was nicely decorated with lots of unique conversational pieces! Enjoyed wood burning fireplace the first night! Book your Shaver Lake getaway here!! Note: bottom floor thermostat is between bathroom/laundry behind boat on wall! Had to contact host to find out where it was and they responded fast!

We booked this as a last minute vacation before the kids go back to school and I am so glad I did! This home was beautiful, welcoming, better than describe and the hosts were so helpful and responsive. My family made beautiful memories and I look forward to coming back here again!

The house and surroundings were beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the house was roomy enough for our family of seven. We spent Christmas here and the hosts thought of everything including decorating for the holidays and putting up a tree. So appreciated and so comfortable for our gathering. Would definitely recommend!!

This was our second time here, everything was as described , host communicated quickly and proactively, the kids really enjoyed the back yard and surroundings, walking trail was a huge plus as well, would definitely recommend, and stay again. The upstairs room above the garage is great for kids to stay and is fairly quiet.

It was a fabulous place to spend our 3 nights. They are friendly and attentive. Close to Shaver Lake, (around 5-7 minutes drive). They have thought about everything on how guest would enjoy their stay. It was my birthday and they have decorated the place ( what a fantastic gesture) So big thank you to H & A for hosting us.
