my girlfriend and i celebrated our first anniversary together and we were lucky to have stayed at this property. carolyn and jonathan were very nice, helpful and friendly. quick responses and great hospitality. they baked us fresh baked snacks one morning and would check in with us to make sure our stay was the best it could be. highly recommend this place and host.
Such great hosts, very kind, communicative, and the place was so clean and cozy! This unit is on the third floor, the hosts residence is the main level, and another airbnb on the ground level. Carolyn & Jonathan were amazing, the bedding so soft and cozy. LOVED our stay.
Pictures online can’t give you the wonderful feeling you get when you walk in the room and the lights are dim with candles glowing any your fruit and cheese tray is waiting for you on the bed tray. You immediately exhale and unwind in your private retreat. And the bed feels like your sleeping in a cloud. Everything was just perfect. I enjoyed slipping down to the porch in the morning g to have coffee while I watched squirrels and birds play in the trees.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at this beautiful airbnb. we were welcomed with homemade cookies and everything as pictured is exactly what you’ll get, but better. entering the suite there was relaxing spa music playing along with a personalized note for us. The bed and the couch were extremely comfortable and my girlfriend and I enjoyed the little snacks that Carolyn and her husband provided. It was a beautiful stay and the hot tub was super relaxing. Carolyn and Jonathon put so much effort into this suite and you can tell it’s something they love doing, thank you for making my trip even more memorable. I look forward to staying here again
Everything was amazing and Carolyn was the ultimate host! The attention to detail and effort to make our stay fantastic was top notch. From the cake - to the golf cart- to the warm baked treats- and everything in-between were simply awesome. Wonderful location and the host provided everything needed for a wonderful, relaxing stay!

PRIVATE CUL-DE-SAC LOT:
Suite is on first floor of a single-family home located on a wooded, cul-de-sac lot which limits the view to neighboring houses. The house is adjacent to a park, so it is not uncommon see a variety of birds, deer, and other wildlife.
WALK OR BIKE TO EVERYWHERE:
Emerald Isle has extensive walking and bike paths, so you can get just about anywhere on the island without a car if you enjoy traveling on foot or bicycle.
HALF-MILE FROM BEACH:
Located 1/2 mile from the beach (3 minute bike ride, 7 minute power walk, 15 minutes for turtles).
HALF-MILE FROM PARK:
There is a nature park within a half-mile walk of our home. They have walking paths to the sound, a kayak launch, small pier for fishing, frisbee golf, bathroom facilities when available.
RESTAURANTS / SHOPS:
There are also several restaurants and shops within a 1/2 mile and many more within a mile.
You can use the bikes to ride to the local beach and to many other places on the island. There is a beach, a park, restaurants and shops within about a half-mile of our home. Nearly everything on the island is within 3 miles of our home. We have two beach cruiser bicycles which you may use at your own risk with a signed waiver (be especially careful during the busy summer). There is car parking available for the public beaches (sometimes there is a parking fee on weekends during the summer). Uber is also available on the island.

Our passion is to create a tranquil, peaceful , ambiance of romance and luxury spa feel retreat for couples to reconnect and relax. We offer not just a place to stay but a vacation stay personal experience, filled with thoughtful couple touches . We enjoy seeing our guests making themselves at home, relaxing, enjoying our complimentary amenities or enjoying what Emerald Isle has to offer. Our past guests refer to the suites as " A Couples Treasure", "A piece of paradise"! "This stay was truly paradise! " I felt that I was at a Sandals resort", From the moment we walked in, the music was playing, and there were lovely touches everywhere. Freshly baked goodies, ice cream in the freezer, wine, and snacks awaited us. The suite is decorated to perfection. Beautiful linens, pillows, and candles adorned the room. The outdoor space was another bit of heaven - lounge chairs with comfortable cushions, a hanging swing, outdoor lights and spa curtains for complete privacy. Carolyn offers bikes, kayak, and even a golf cart to get to the beach. And "Chef Jonathan" baked for us almost daily! These owners are more than responsive - they are truly concerned with their guests having the perfect couples stay experience! Highly recommend!"
