Cool Cabins was quick to respond when we had issues and sent maintenance to address needed repairs. With that said the home is poorly maintained, and run down. We we’re disappointed to find the house was not as clean as we would expect. After check in, the first stop of our vacation was to buy cleaning supplies. The carpet and furniture are badly stained and there’s a unusual odor in the home. The hot tub is falling apart and not operating correctly. There were ants in the master bathroom, but we were tired of wasting time with maintenance so we didn’t call. I would not rent this home again or recommend it.

Beautiful cabin, I just feel that there should have been more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning and a chair was broken.

We picked this cabin for the hot tub, which was broken. I called Cool Cabins and they said they would send their maintenance person over to fix it. He didn’t arrive so I called cool cabins back to get a timeframe on when he would show up and they said they would call him and ask for an ETA and get back to me. I never got a call back from them and the maintenance guy never came. Ridiculous that they advertise the hot tub when it doesn’t work.

This was a fantastic cabin. It was accurately described and was in a perfect location to hit all the main attractions of Big Bear. There was more than enough room for our party of 5 and the kids loved the game room. Instructions were clear and we really enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of suggestions…. A lighter would be nice for the fireplace as when we arrived there was non, and the sofa and love seat were quite uncomfortable in the living room. I think upgrading to a more roomy and plush seating arrangement would make this place perfect. Thanks for a great stay.
