Time to share a little about myself & my 2 boys. I was born and raised here in Tasmania before setting sail to the big island (aka MainLand Australia) to join the Navy as a Chef. After 7 years of service it was time to fly the Navy nest and spread my wings to broader wider pastures. As such I embarked on a solo mission to circumnavigate the globe. It was during these next 7 months I would explore the wonders of Thailand, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, England, Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa & The Americas. Once landing back in Sydney the passion for food was still alive and well in my soul and so I started my career as a Personal Chef. The magic of high end fine dining soon took on a life of its own and I found myself swept up in the glitzy glam & magic of cooking for the likes of Leo DiCaprio, Paula Abdul, Hugh Jackman & Jamie Foxx. After 10 years as the Celebrities Chef I left the fast paced hustle and bustle of Sydney and headed back to Tasmania, to a little seaside town called Burnie. The hypnotic pristine landscapes and clean air gave rise to my health coaching certification and now nutritional studies where I am happy living a much slower, wholesome and organic life focused on holistic health, wellness, healing and happiness. Throw in a four year renovation and an organic veggie garden and VIOLA...... Oh and off course Oscar (the lion like MaltiPom) & Charlie (the very nostalgic and charming Chaplin like Australian York X Bitsa Rescue) I am a massive holistic health, hospitality & entrepreneurship fan and love Matt Steinwede (if you’ve never heard of him, do yourself a favour and look him up). I enjoy studying personal development, online business, the sharing economy and anything that piques my interest at the time. I would die without audible stimulation. Podcasts, YouTube Premium & my vintage gramophone turntable are my ultimate happy place. We are a happy, healthy, hound loving home with a very unique style and experience for you to relish, enjoy and share. Your ultimate in holiday happiness awaits!
