‘By the sea’ provided a relaxing comfortable stay for our family. The apartment is very clean and tidy and has everything you could need. Judy and Lynda were exceptional hosts. In particular they were really kind to our 2 year old boy and gave him toys to play with during our stay. The beach was less than a hundred metres from the doorstep and we found ourselves having a swim every day. It is such a beautiful spot!

Staying at Judy's place was the best last-minute decision ever! We enquired in the morning, and she managed to welcome us on the same day with an earlier check-in, which was absolutely fabulous. We loved everything about the flat. It is actually much nicer than it looks on the photos. Everything seems brand new. It was 100% perfectly clean and tidy, and there were more towels at our disposal than we would know what to do with. Judy has put a lot of thought and love into this flat and wants to make her guests welcome. There were some chocolates and basics (milk, teabags, coffee capsules, hot chocolate powder). From the terrace we had a beautiful view of the bay and going down to Coopers Beach took one minute, if that. We also had a two-people-kayak at our disposal, which we used to explore the bay with the children. It's a 5-minute car ride to Mangonui with its lovely restaurants and wine bar. We would love to come back here and to stay longer next time!

Super space to relax and take in the outstanding views, stroll along the beach and then the facilities in the appt were fab. Come bed with high quality bedding. Highly recommend
