Just back from a lovely stay in Brona’s barn conversation. A perfect base to explore the beautiful area. Our highlight was our beautiful tea stop at the stunning Ashford Castle. Would definitely recommend

One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s! Brona was extremely kind and compassionate, and greeted us on our first night when we came in late. She also has the most adorable Shih Tzu and a horse and donkey! They’re all so lovely and Brona’s loft was pristine. She also left us a basket of food and goodies, which was just so thoughtful. I highly recommend Brona’s place to anyone! Thank you again for being so lovely Brona! ❤️

Beautiful loft with personal touches my Brona - a selection of snacks as well as small touches that welcomed me and my friends. Very comfortable beds and an extra single bed was set up thanks to a request in advance. We had everything we needed and felt at home over the course of our short stay. Brona had plenty of local recommendations and a welcome pack contained menus from nearby restaurants and much more. We availed of the fantastic weather and enjoyed visiting Kylemore Abbey, Ashford Castle, Cong village, Killary Fjord, Clifden hiking in Connemara National Park and going for swims nearby.

Our stay at the barn loft was a highlight of our recent trip to Ireland! Brona had created such a beautiful, comfortable and visually appealing space for her guests! We were welcomed with many personal touches in the space and it made us feel so welcome! The barn loft was so thoughtfully stocked with breakfast items and snacks that lasted the duration of our stay. Brona also had a very informative binder with the history and fun facts about Cong, restaurants in the area and their menus, and suggestions for activities with detailed maps! It made the stay feel very organized. All in all, you cannot go wrong staying at the barn loft. It is in a great location and is an even better vacation rental! Book this place!

Brona was a wonderful & friendly host. The loft was spotless & beautifully kept. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and bathroom necessities. A generous basket with breakfast goodies & a few treats welcomed us, and there was milk, juice, teas, jams & more in the fridge waiting for us. The amenities worked perfectly & we had everything we needed to make our own light dinner & breakfast. Lovely large shower in the spacious bathroom with shower gel, shampoo & conditioner available. Brona left an extensive file with plenty of information about the area as well as menus for local restaurants, etc. She was also lovely to chat to & had great suggestions for our onward journey. Will definitely be recommending to friends! Thank you, Brona!
