Is there any better way of spending your holiday than being accommodated 250m from the beach and 400m from the restaurants and a local market? You will find this and more in Casa dos Amigos, where you can easily meet other travelers and surfers and get a good night sleep in this only 2-bed shared dorm. Please note that by making this reservation you are booking one bed in a 2-bed dorm. In case you want to have the room by yourself you can contact us and we can help you book the entire room. Located on the ground floor are our room, a toilet, kitchen, dining room and a spacious living room with a balcony. On the first floor there are two twin guestrooms with a shared bathroom right next to them and a double bedroom with a private bathroom on the other side of the hall. On the second floor there is one more shared room for guests. Below the main floor there is a one bedroom apartment with its own kitchenette and a living space. The rooms are thematically decorated to make you feel as comfortable as possible. All beds are equipped with their own night lamps and a shelf and they all have access to the energy outlets to enable you to charge your electronic devices. Perfect for solo travelers, friends or groups of travelers.

I loved staying over, everything was cozy and clean and it smelled good. The room was comfortable and the home is right next to the beach and not far from Lourinha itself. The hosts are really friendly and helpful, easy to talk to and interesting. I highly recommend staying over and I definitely will book a room again when I come back to Lourinha !
Niki and Eva are cool and kind, they made my stay at Areia 10 times better and helped me with everything I needed. The house is cozy, with lot of cute details and a big living room with great library. It's easy to immediately feel at home. The bed was super comfortable, and room was clean, spacious and full of light. The food is homemade, vegan and so delicious. Everyone I've met there were so nice, and the whole vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Thank you, I will return for sure!
Ich durfte 8 Wochen bei Niki und Eva wohnen - es war eine fantastische Zeit ❤️ Die Kommunikation hat jederzeit hervorragend geklappt, ich bin unglaublich herzlich willkommen worden und habe mich direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus ist super hübsch eingerichtet, mit einem wunderbaren Auge für liebevolle Details ❤️. Alles ist sehr sauber und wann immer ich Sand von draußen reingeschleppt habe 😅, er war nach kürzester Zeit verschwunden. Niki und Eva achten sehr darauf, dass ihre Gäste sich wohl fühlen - sie geben einem tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung und helfen bei allen Fragen jederzeit weiter. Das Essen ist großartig 🤤 - die Beiden kochen mit möglichst regionalen Zutaten, unterstützen Farmer aus der Region und zaubern auch vegane Menüs, die mich absolut begeistert haben ❤️ Ich könnte lange weiterschwärmen, aber die verfügbaren Zeichen sind begrenzt 😅. Also sag ich nur: Hin da! Es lohnt sich ❤️🥰 Vielen Dank für diese unglaublich schöne Zeit - ich komm wieder ❤️😘

Praia da Areia Branca is a small, peaceful village with excellent position by the Atlantic Ocean, hidden from mass tourism. It is situated between the beautiful towns Ericeira and Peniche and approximately 1-hour drive away from Lisbon.
There is a sandy beach 3 min walk down the road from the house and it feels like it goes on and on forever. You can spend some time catching the waves, dipping your toes in the ocean or admiring the local cliffs. You can also take a long walk to the nearby abandoned fort with stunning views of the surroundings. We also offer two bikes for rent so you can discover the area.
If you want to try surfing or improve your surfing level we are working with a local surfschool and you can book lessons at our place!
In the village there is a local market where you can buy fresh veggies and fruits. There is also a small supermarket, many good restaurants and bars.
The town close by, Lourinha, is known as the capital of dinousaurs as they found many fossils in this area - you can discover more in the local museum or in the Dinopark, Europe's largest dinosaur park.
We are located 20 minutes south of Peniche, one of the biggest surfing hot spots in Portugal and there are good public transport options to get there. The medieval city Óbidos which is one of the most picturesque and well preserved in Portugal is only a 30 minutes car ride away.
The public transportation connections to Lisbon are very good. The journey from Lisbon to Praia da Areia Branca takes approximately one and a half hour and buses run almost every hour.
For schedules you can check out both companies that have connections to our village: RedeExpressos (departure from Sete Rios station in Lisbon) and Rodoviaria do Oeste (Rapida Azul line, departs from Campo Grande station in Lisbon). The local bus stop is Praia da Areia Branca.
If you arrive by car, there are public parking spaces on the street in front of our guesthouse. If they are not vacant, you can easily get a parking spot at the public parking lot 250 meters from the house.

Hello, my name is Niki and together with my girlfriend Eva we opened our guesthouse Casa dos Amigos in April 2022. We are a 29 years old slovenian couple and travelers by heart and we want Casa dos Amigos to be an inclusive place where guests feel comfortable to socialize and enjoy while still having enough privacy.
