Candice and Barb thought of everything to make this experience one I’ll always treasure. The cottage is homey, clean, inviting and steps away from a great beach. The welcome gift was very thoughtful and useful! The shower has more water pressure than any other shower and it felt amazing on my old sore body! There isn’t anything I’d change.
A very clean and tidy place to stay. Really enjoyed the time we spent in Candice’s beach house!
My wife and I came up from Ohio for a weekend getaway. This was exactly what we needed! The place was exactly as described. While not directly on the water, the public beach access was extremely close and easily walkable. Our only trouble as the beach was a lot of biting flies, but after being around the area for a bit, we realized they were everywhere. We enjoyed the special touches, very clean place, and local recommendations in the guide book. My wife and I went to 5 of the local wineries, Joe Hot + Cold Coffee, Jack’s Gastropub, and more. Loved every minute of the area. Not sure what we liked more - the area or Candice’s home/location. Would be happy to stay here again.

My family was long overdue for a getaway and this was the perfect setting for some relaxation and rejuvenation. It was nice to have the comfort of that“home” feeling while being away. We brought so much stuff we thought we would need and didn’t end up using much of it because Candice had it all covered! Candice was great with communication and kept us informed throughout while making sure everything was up to snuff! The pictures don’t do this place justice the area is. Beautiful and the people are amazing. Our kids lived at the beach during our stay which is mere metres from the front door. The shower has top tier water pressure (a big plus) and the couch and beds are heavenly. Several places around to fish, ride bikes or go for walks. Be sure to check out the bakery near by for the best donuts and pies you have ever had! Needless to say we will be back!
