Angela’s place was very comfortable and homey. The surroundings are beautiful, and there are many windows to view the outdoors. The place was very clean and there are many updates to the house including a beautiful kitchen and two bathrooms. There are many little details and amenities provided that made our experience very positive. Our only disappointment was our own fault…..we weren’t able to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house because we stayed there as a “launching” point to view the eclipse further north. We should have stayed another day! However, we did get time to walk around the farm grounds and meet the goats and then we walked the old railroad path behind the house which is beautiful. We would definitely like to go back!

Beautiful, peaceful spot to relax. The house had antique charm but with all the modern conveniences. There is no TV, but that was a plus! An easy half-hour drive to Manchester. Enjoyed seeing and hearing the ducks and geese at the pond. Would love to come back to explore the trails on the property and visit the goats. Angela was very helpful and responsive.

Consider Bardwell Farm was absolutely beautiful. The home easily accommodated 3 adults and 3 children and Angela had a pack n play bed for my son all set up and ready for him upon arrival. We had a lovely local cheese platter waiting on the table when we arrived which was perfectly paired with a glass of wine and the warmth of the nice warm wood stove in the cozy living room. For breakfast the fridge was stocked with farm fresh eggs, bacon, french bread and local Vermont maple syrup, butter, and marmalade. Absolutely perfect start to the day. The home was stocked with everything we needed, including fresh linens and memory foam beds which made for a very comfortable night's sleep. We couldn't be happier with our Vermont family getaway. Thank you Angela!

My husband and I spend a weekend with friends at Angela's cottage, and we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and there is plenty to explore in the immediate surroundings, including Angela's dairy farm. The house was tastefully decorated, with brand new appliances and serene views of the pond. We had a great time hanging in the living room in front of the burning stove as the sun set. Angela was extremely welcoming and responsive, and I would very much recommend buying one of her breakfast or cheese boxes, which are filled with local products and cheese from the farm. We would highly recommend Angela's place to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in nature.
