First time to Guyana, so we were a bit unsure of what to expect. Faizal was very reassuring from the very first day, and communication was top notch. Check in was a breeze. His assistant was in contact with us even before we arrived in Guyana, and she was very helpful in providing directions. She even called us a couple times along the way from the airport just to ensure that we were alright. The first night we had an issue where we were not getting hot water in either house. I messaged Faizal but since it was pretty late at night, I honestly did not expect a response. He messaged right back to let me know that he would be on top of it first thing in the morning. The next morning, his workers were there and they quickly sorted the problem. Faizal came across as well and stayed until they rectified the issue. The property is very close to the highway, as well as major supermarkets (Massy stores and Massy mini) and Movietowne for shopping and of course, movies. We took approximately 15-20 minutes on mornings to get into Georgetown with some traffic. The pool on the property came in very useful on those hot humid days. The kids had a great time every day in the pool. Also useful was the generator for those frequent power outages. We lost power about 3 times during our stay there, all during the night so it was extremely reassuring to have the generator come on each time so we had full power available. The front gate is electric, so again a nice touch to not have to come out of your vehicle to open and close the gate. During the nights there is a security guard that comes over to patrol the grounds, so for us, that was another reassuring aspect of this stay. Overall, the bedrooms were comfortable and the living areas very homely. The tellies all have cable with loads of sports and movie channels to choose from. Hands down, this is an amazing property with loads of thoughtful features. We would definitely choose here to stay again when we get back to Guyana. Faizal was the perfect host. Could not have asked for anything more.
