This was my 3rd time visiting Stay By The Sea. The host Hussam was very communicative and went above and beyond to accommodate some scheduling disasters that I encountered not once, but twice! As always,a lovely clean beautiful cozy place to stay. If you are lucky, you can enjoy dinner while watching the northern lights and take a walk along the trail to Apex in good weather.

Booked two rooms for guests travelling through Iqaluit with an unexpected overnight in Iqaluit. Very responsive host - clear instructions. Was told by guests the views were spectacular and they very pleased with the accommodations. Will definitely be looking to book again in the future should the need arise. Thank you for making their stay comfortable!

It was my first time in Iqaluit and I stayed at Stay By The Sea for the 6 days I was there. The accommodations were perfect. We stayed in room number 2. This is one of two bedrooms located upstairs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious with a stunning view over the frozen lake. There was always lots of warm water for showering even though it’s a shared space. They left more than enough towels/linens for us and they even provided shampoo, body wash and conditioner in mini sample bottles. For a couple who values privacy, I highly recommend booking room 2 over the other 5 rooms available as it was one of the biggest rooms and much more private being that it’s not on the main floor/near the shared space. I would agree with another reviewers comment about the walls being quite thin and you can hear most things going on within the house and in other rooms. Shared space was always clean!

We had a fantastic time at Stay by the Sea! The place was beautiful, clean, and offered amazing views. The host was helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Iqaluit.

This was my second visit to Stay By the Sea. I love it because it's very hygge! The bed was comfortable, and I was treated with spectacular views of Frobisher Bay and even the northern lights. It is not in a central location so I took cab, but the views are worth it.
