A true retreat in the mountains. We stayed here on our way from Lisbon to the Algarve and it was so nice to have a change of scenery and pace. The mountain air and beautiful accommodations were perfect. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed, and we even were able to have a small fire as it was cooler at night. The surrounding area is beautiful and Gisela has built a great little escape. We didn’t use the pool but it looks ideal for a hot day. It was easy to have our private room and then shared outdoor space with others. Would recommend if you are looking for a peaceful escape in nature!

Came to Giselas with my partner and two 5 year old. The children adored sleeping up the ladder , added a bit of fun for them . The bedding had a very luxurious feel so we all had a great sleep . Gisela welcomed us so warmly and we felt like we were staying at a friend's out . The apts are a few under meters from the main house itself. It's set on beautiful wild grounds and the whole area feels beautifully wild . It is close to a good walk to a waterfall which might be nice activity to do and about 5 k from a large town to pick up supplies or have a meal at . There is an outdoor kitchen which you can cook yourself at , and a shared pool, which we braved a dip in . The children also loved the 2 pigs and cats which roamed free . My whole family enjoyed our time here and have recommended to all our friends .

Wir hatten eine super Zeit und können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen. Gisela ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt🌸🫶🏻
