Myself and two friend's planning a two night stay in Monaghan, hotel's booked out , someone suggested we try Airbnb, with some trepidation I browsed through the site and saw Lynster House it looked nice and we decided to book, after all it was only 2 nights. On arrival we were welcomed by Elizabeth and our first experience with Airbnb got off to a great start. Her house was beautiful, the beds were so comfy, the warm water in the shower just perfect, the breakfast each morning yummy. Went with Elizabeth's recommendation for restaurant's and bars in town for both nights all excellent choices. Elizabeth dropped us in to town both evenings and taxi back just 9euro. Elizabeth's talents are endless, her passion for Monaghan amazing, what an asset to her home town. I hope to use Airbnb again after this super first experience however my expectations and standards are now set very high!

Great host, fabulous house (or the other way around!) Elizabeth is full of beans and full of chat. Very comfy house, lovely, quiet surroundings and I loved the very arty decoration and the inspired garden.

Elizabeth is a great hostess and we really enjoyed our time in her lovely house which is very cosy and spotlessly clean. She is very accommodating and goes out of her way to be of any help she can be. Her breakfast is beautifully presented and sustained us for the rest of the day. We can't recommend Elizabeth and her house enough, and added to our overall experience and enjoyment of Monaghan. Well worth a visit. We'll certainly be back. Thank you for your hospitality Liz.
