As soon as we turned up, you can tell this place has been had a lot of love and attention to detail. Nothing out of place and felt a bit special. Is just of main road, however, didn’t feel like it at all. The rear of the accommodation was stunning and peaceful. Perfect continental buffet breakfast but also offered to cook fresh omelette or eggs. Isabel was very informative, helped with local recommendation just into Marsascala juts a mile away, we could have walked in 25 min but Uber was only €5. Such a nice unique place to stay. Would stay again and hope to bring friends.

Die Unterkunft ist abseits der Touristenströme und dennoch kann man von hier aus den Strand innerhalb von wenigen Minuten mit dem Bus (der hält 100m entfernt) zum Strand oder in die nächste Stadt kommen. Es gibt Fußläufig zwei Städte mit einigen Restaurants und generell eine gute Anbindung nach Valetta. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und mit tollen Gartenmöbeln ausgestattet in 2023 wird die Unterkunft um einen Indoor Pool erweitert. Ein großer Supermarkt befindet sich in etwa 200 Meter Entfernung.

A lovely ambiente topped off by lovely people. We‘ve been warm welcomed on our first day and had that feeling throughout our whole stay. Really nice owners and staff which fulfilled all our wishes! Really nice and clean rooms and definitely worth a visit!!

We had such a lovely stay at the Mullberries! Jesabel and her husband were very friendly and always helpful! The hotel room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the interior design was beautiful. Thanks a lot! We would always come back!

Words cannot describe how fortunate I feel to have found The Mulberries, or how grateful I am to Jesabel and her husband for the wonderful experience they provided for me. I arrived at Malta late one night to find it was impossible to stay at the accommodation I'd reserved and scrambled to find a hotel for the night. Once I had a room, I started sending panicked messages to find an Airbnb where I could stay for the remainder of my trip and hoping someone would be able to let me leave my bags before I had to check out my hotel. Jesabel replied early the next morning confirming it would be fine for me to do that. Once I arrived at the Mulberries, a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. Jesabel found a safe space for my luggage, showed me around the peaceful grounds, and gave me the wifi password. I sat down outside with a view of the garden to do some work on my computer before heading out to explore and, shortly after, Jesabel told me my room was ready—even though it was hours before the check-in time! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a subtle floral scent (not at all like bathroom cleaners or anything like that) that was incredibly pleasant, the body shower they provide also smells delicious, and the room was spacious. The space was always quiet and Jesabel and her husband were always available for questions. Breakfast every morning was a delight, especially the orange juice made fresh with the oranges from their garden. The location worked well for me. There's a stop a 2-minute walk away where you can catch three different buses, two of which go to Valletta. I was also always able to easily get a Bolt to get around—they're fairly inexpensive. A grocery store can be found about a 1-minute from the bus stop, too. What I loved most was how responsive Jesabel and her husband were, and how willing they were to help in any way they could. For example, they took care of arranging a COVID test at a pharmacy the day before I had to fly back to the U.S. Also, when I asked them if they knew of any cooking classes, they were able to set it up so I could visit their family member's home when a chef was going to be there. I learned so much about Maltese cuisine and food science, and I wasn't even charged for the experience! (Side note: I highly recommend going to Tulliera Farm Deli, which is owned by that same family member and opened the same day I visited. The setting is beautiful and they sell lots of fresh and delicious chutneys, strawberries, and more!) If I ever return to Malta, I will certainly try to stay at The Mulberries again.
