Homeplace Ranch is a historic and magical place, surrounded by incredible forest located at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The lodge is spacious with a well stocked kitchen, and several bedrooms have private washrooms. This is the perfect lodging for family/group gatherings. Susan and Mac are the most gracious hosts and I highly recommend a stay here.

Christmas is magical at Horseman's Lodge, and the beautiful accommodation is perfect for our family. Separate bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were a luxury. We love the large, very well-equipped kitchen and large dining table - they made it a pleasure to have friends join us for dinners. The second fridge in the back hall was a wonderful amenity for all of Christmas' special meals. The living area with wood burning stove was very comfortable and pleasant to gather in. The spacious vestibule made it easy to manage all our winter paraphernalia. It's a very peaceful place and walking the trails through the woods and to viewpoints on ridgetops was a favourite part of our stay. We also really appreciate that it is a dog-friendly place - our dog was welcome and he loved those walks too. Susan and Mac are very warm and welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. It's very special to hear some stories from them and feel their love of this beautiful place. We hope to stay again!

The Horseman’s Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Surrounded by beautiful meadows and Aspen and Pine forests. Mac and Sue are very friendly and great hosts.

We enjoyed our time there. We had a family reunion close by and it was so nice not to drive back into the city. Loved how there was bedrooms were on both sides of the house. Lots of bedrooms so our whole family fit. It’s really nice when there is spices, coffee, tea, Saran Wrap and tin foil that’s so convenient. Lots of dishes and cutlery for big groups.
