We just spent four glorious days at Calypso Beach house for a family reunion. The house exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully furnished, private and spotless. The location right on the beach was absolutely stunning. There was ample space for the whole family. Robyn was a great host - always available to answer any questions. We will highly recommend Calypso Beach House.

We had a wonderful weekend here and the location is just perfect. With a view of the sunset over the ocean and easy access to the beach and also an inside barbecue, it is the perfect home for a large family weekend away. Also, the ice-maker integrated in the freezer was very convenient. Although it feels almost like unnecessary nitpicking here, I think the following prevented me from giving 5 stars: - A Nespresso machine in the kitchen would have been nice - There were no brooms or anything to clean up a bit around the barbecue area - There were no iron contraption to put the barbecue grid on, just a few loose rickety bricks - The bedroom downstairs is not that great. It has 4 smallish bunk beds, no windows, a battery that whirs throughout the night and a large extractor fan as well (the 4 rooms upstairs are very spacious and luxurious). - During loadshedding the lights stay on, but the fridges and everything else does not work (including the ice-maker).
