Great place to stay if you want to avoid the commotion of Interlaken. The host reached out ahead of the trip and was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

Good stay overall but not very friendly people from the company managing the property, they did not share instructions upfront and were unfriendly when we reached out for clarifications

We loved our stay in Wilderswil. The chalet was very nice in a beautiful location. The visitors center located on your way to train station was great! The space in chalet was really nice as a couple we were able to use one bedroom to sleep and the other for our luggage and getting ready. The bathroom is down a hall, a bit of a walk from bedrooms, so I’m glad it was just us. I don’t think it would be workable for 2 couples based on our opinion. The beds we’re comfortable. The kitchen, dining, and living area is lovely and feels nice after a long day of exploring. There’s a farm fridge down the road for fresh milk that was delicious also another a bit further for fresh cheese and sausage. Bring small change as you pay on your honor. The bakery is a must for fresh cinnamon rolls that sell out early.

We really enjoyed staying at the apartment- it had character, felt like a home, was spacious, had a lovely quiet yet convenient location in Wilderswil, was well equipped (especially kitchen), good bedding and had nice views. Interhome representatives were very helpful making our check in and out straightforward. Thanks Karoline! Wilderswil itself seemed to us much better option to stay in than Interlaken if you seek a more Swiss village feel. There is a historic church, covered bridges over the river and plenty of trails nearby for walking and trail running. The transport links are good into Interlaken west or east or to other places, especially Schynige Platte (although disappointed it was shut for maintenance whilst we were there in the shoulder season). We would like to return!
