My husband and I stayed 3 nights here for part of our honeymoon and there were some problems: first to our arrival we had advised that we wanted a nice room due to our special trip, instead they gave us the worst room on the floor land with street noises. Unhappy, we asked to be moved and without making us pay extra and with extreme kindness, they gave us the "best room" on the top floor. Premise that the check-in was perfect, the rooms were both very clean, tidy and neat in furnishings, but unfortunately there is a big basic problem: the maintenance of the hotel! In the first room apart from the noise there was a problem with the fire alarm in the corridors and it rang for a long time scaring everyone and the staff told us it wasn't the first time it happened and then in the second room there was a water problem in our bathroom and the toilet flush water would not stop running, also blocking the sink and shower water, prevent us to wash us for a day! The accommodation is very nice and the staff are courteous, it is a real shame that this place that could have great potential is not renovated and maintained!

Upon check in we were given two cards, one a key, the other a wine card (to load money for purchasing wine during the stay). They look very similar. We mistakenly took the wine card when we left on our first day, locking ourselves out. The staff responded immediately to help us get back into our room. The room is a good size. Please note there is no elevator and the stairway is steep. The decorations are very cute. And the outdoor space is Instagram worthy. During our stay in May 2022 there was construction happening on a building just a few doors down and a few other places close by. It seems there is some revitalization happening in this area. A local friend told us this area has been cleaned up in recent years. We came across a man talking to himself and yelling as we walked back to the hotel one night, but besides that we had a great stay.
