Wilma is a pet-friendly, mid-terrace, two-bedroom house which sleeps four, or six including the sofa bed. The house is situated less than a minute’s walk from the historic market town’s train station and only a two-minute walk from the town centre. Here you will find a fabulous selection of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as Beverley Minster, Beverley Racecourse and Beverley’s beautiful Westwood pastures. Railway Terrace was built in 1847, just a year after the train station opened. In the last year, the house itself has been entirely renovated and modernised, whilst preserving it’s tradition and character. Downstairs you will find an open-plan living room/kitchen area. There is a large double Chesterfield-style sofa bed in the living room (in addition to other seating), enabling a comfortable stay for an extra two guests and you will find a shoe rack next to the sofa, opposite the front door. There is a wall-mounted TV above the fireplace which provides a variety of streaming channels that guests are welcome to log into, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Now TV (please note that terrestrial TV is not currently available, but you can log into your own BBC, ITV and Channel 4 accounts via the apps on the TV, or the TV browser). You can find a selection of family games in the cupboard to the right of the fireplace. The log burner is not connected and cannot be used. The kitchen facilities include a dishwasher, washer-dryer, oven, combi-oven-microwave, electric hob, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, baking trays and various cooking utensils, along with the appropriate crockery, cutlery, and glassware. You will find recycling and general waste bins, an iron, ironing board, laundry basket, clothes horse, and vacuum under the stairs. This is a non-smoking house, but should you wish to smoke outside, you will find an ashtray in the cupboard under the sink. There is a separate dining room which caters for six people with French doors next to the dining table and a skylight above, providing a beautifully light dining area in the daytime, or a peaceful setting in the evening. The dining room leads on to a small, yet invitingly sunny and quiet back yard where you will find a small bistro table and chairs, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening Prosecco. If you intend on using a disposable BBQ please use the bricks and slabs provided on the ground. The bathroom is located downstairs towards the back of the property and includes a combination bath and a shower. It has an overhead rain showerhead as well as a handheld shower. To activate the shower, turn the top wheel anticlockwise for the over-head shower, and clockwise for the hand-held shower. The house benefits from a combi-boiler to avoid multiple guests having to wait for hot water. If required, you will find a non-slip mat for the bath in the bathroom. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. The front bedroom includes an ottoman double bed, two bedside tables, a dressing table with mirror, a wardrobe and a full-length leaning mirror. The back bedroom includes a double bed, bedside tables, a tall chest of draws, a wall-mounted mirror and the airing/boiler cupboard. You can find a hair dryer and straighteners in the front bedroom, as well as spare bedding in the ottoman bed and towels in the airing cupboard, if required. There is also a travel cot available in the property if required. If you are travelling by car, we can offer a free guest parking permit for your stay which will allow you to park on any of the nearby residential streets (you can often get a spot outside the property, but it's not guaranteed).

Beautiful house in a convenient location to access local town. Jen had thought of every possible necessity within the house. Comfy beds and proper duvets 👌🏼 would definitely come back again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.
Very nice house in great location within easy walking distance to shops and bars. Parking added bonus and was never a problem close by.

Travelling:
If you are travelling by car, we can offer a free guest permit for your stay which will allow you to park on any of the nearby residential streets. In order to activate the permit, I would just need your vehicle registration number prior to your arrival. The permit is a digital one and I will activate it using your car registration number at your check-in time, and it will be deactivated at your check-out time.
You can also find two large East Riding Council car parks; one at the at the back of the property and one at the front. Please note that if you wish to park in these at any point, that they require separate payment and are not covered by the guest permit.
The town train station is less than a minute walk away, and bus station is only an eight-minute walk away.
Beverley is 50-minute drive to York, 20 minutes to Hornsea’s beach front and 90 minutes to Whitby.
