We enjoyed our weekend away with our two dogs. The farm is in a beautiful location where you can easily enjoy spending your day exploring and interacting with the gorgeous donkeys. Our dogs had the best time running around the farm outside of the donkey paddocks and had a great time playing with Joan’s beautiful dogs. The property is in a great location with the local towns offering nice food options and close proximity to Sydney and Canberra. The room was very comfortable with all amenities we required to enjoy our stay. The farm tour was so much fun and great to learn more about the donkeys. We would love to come back and would highly recommend staying here!

Joan was accomodating and friendly to us all. She took us around to all 100 donkeys and we got to pat and feed them all carrots, it was a lovely experience. Do be aware that there isn’t any hot water. However after an icy shower, the place is kept toasty thanks to the many heaters. You also had to be aware of making sure one person was using the toilet/sink/dishwasher at a time which was tricky with 8 people-though we did manage okay, be sure to pause the dish washer whenever anyone goes to the loo. The power went out at around 9pm and we knocked on Joan’s door and she came right over to help us find some seperate candle lights, taught us how to use her self-playing piano and then she went off to investigate. The power came back on shortly after, about an hour later. Joan was super helpful and friendly throughout that ordeal.

I arranged to take my family of animal lovers away for my wife’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Joan was so welcoming and took us around and involved us in the day-to-day feeding and care of the donkeys. We brought lots of carrots as treats for them as we heard it’s their favourite 🧡 There are also great restaurants and cafes less than a 20min drive from the property (with amazing wood fired pizza)! We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully for a bit longer next time 😃

Joan is a beautiful very passionate person about her lovely donkeys. She was so willing to teach us all we wanted to know about caring for donkeys. I would recommend the stay and farm tour to anyone who loves donkeys. Joan is great with children as well assisting them around the farm with the animals. Her B&B is a great place to stay whether you want to be hands on or not. Joan makes you feel a part of the family. Thank you so much, we will be back. Jodie
