Great place, the private terrace was lovely

Jack was a great host, the unit was just a bit underwhelming. The listing made it sound like we would have more bedrooms and bathrooms than we did (we only had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) & the unit was a bit outdated. The photos made the place look a bit more cozy than it was— for example the ottoman & table in the bedroom was only moved there for the photo. The kitchen was bare bones, not enough to be able to cook or serve a meal. Only bars of soap, towels, & toilet paper were provided, no other amenities. The street was very noisy, & the bedrooms get very bright in the morning. No heat (normal for Cusco) & there is ceiling gap over the stairs so outside air is constantly coming in, so bring extra layers. The upside was that Jack & the building were very responsive. We did not have hot water & it was fixed right away. He was there to greet us when we checked in. Front desk was able to provide more towels & toilet paper upon request & helped when our key stopped working

Nice views from the roof and the hot showers were great and the beds were comfortable. Two rooms are separated by a hallway outside the main unit. Some bedrooms get light very early and traffic outside is noisy. There is no filtered water sadly. The kitchen was a bit dirty when we arrived.
