Maya is an excellent host. I booked last minute yet I still felt well accommodated. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice - the surroundings are absolutely amazing to just sit and relax in. Just note that the roads leading to the cabin are dirt with a bit of loose gravel, and the incline to get up the entrance may be difficult for smaller vehicles. Be prepared!

Maya ist eine sehr herzliche und freundliche Gastgeberin. Die Lodge hat eine super schöne Lage und auch das mega lecker Frühstück (was Maya mit viel Herzblut zubereitet hat) hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Wir würden sofort wieder dort buchen.

Das Highlight der Kanada-Ferien! Maya und Juerg sind perfekte Gastgeber! Die Zimmer sind komfortabel eingerichtet und perfekt sauber. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und der selbstgemachte Zopf: herrlich! Die Lage des Hauses etwas oberhalb vom See ist idyllisch und wunderschön. Das gratis Ruderboot und Pedalo ergänzen den rundum gelungen Aufenthalt perfekt. Besonders hervorzuheben gilt es jedoch die Gastfreundschaft, einmalig! Wir wurden von Maya und Juerg gar zum Abendessen bei Ihnen eingeladen, ein wunderbarer Abend mit schönen Gesprächen! Das einzig Negative: wir mussten viel zu früh wieder weiter!

We had an awesome and relaxing time! Maya was so easy to communicate and the room was perfect for our stay. We shared the big livingroom and the kitchen with other gasts. There was enough space for everyone in the fridge. We really enjoyed using the pedal boat on the near by lake. We highly recommend Mayas breakfast, which was so delicious!

We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet. We had a view of the lake, which was nice. Having a little central kitchen area with the fridge, and microwave etc was very handy, as was the kitchen table and seating area for meeting the other guests and warming up food. the breakfasts supplied by Maya were outstanding. We will be back.
